DelFosse Vineyards and Winery is pleased to offer a number of opportunities to enjoy the Virginia countryside and winery with a variety of escape packages starting with the rental of its historic chestnut log cabin. We also work closely with an increasing number of partners to provide packages for the enjoyment of its customers. Escape packages range from Private Gourmet Dinners to Hotel and Bed and Breakfast stays combined with VIP Wine Tastings, to specials packages tied to our on site Winery Events. You are encouraged to look at these special arrangements as they all provide great value, while supporting local businesses.
Except for the rental of the Log Cabin, the majority of these packages are sold directly by DelFosse Vineyard and Winery partners, so please click on the links below to find out the details of each offerring.
Overnight Stays at the Historic Chestnut Log Cabin
Treat yourself to a week end or week or any combination of dates, for relaxation in a peaceful setting at the Log Cabin overlooking the lake, the terraced vineyards and the winery.
The log cabin is a 100 plus year old cabin which was restored in 2005. Initially used as the tasting room for the winery, it was completely remodeled inside and outside (see bottom left picture for what it used to look like after major clean up, but before fixing!). Enjoy award winning wines on the large large deck with wine bar and a beautiful patio. The views are gorgeous.The setting is very quiet and peaceful. The inside is fully functional and includes a large bathroom with shower, a small but complete kitchen, a living room with fireplace and a bedroom upstairs. Amenities include satellite TV, wireless Internet access, 2 noiseless Mitsubishi HVAC units (one at each level). The log cabin sleeps 2. There is a 2 night minimum stay. Check in-check out is flexible unless there are back to back rentals. Check in around 1 pm. Check out around noon.
Rates are:
Week End : $250 ($225 for wine club members)
Entire week :$600 (Monday to Sunday) ($540 for wine club members)
Single night (weekday only) :$135

Charges and Cancellation policy:
A deposit equal to 1/2 the rental is charged at reservation time and guarantees the date.
Cancellations up to 60 days prior to reservation date are fully refundable
Cancellations inside of $60 days may be refundable if the cabin is re-rented to another party. If the cabin does not re-rent, no refund is made.

Wintergreen Stay and VIP Wine Tasting and/or Private Dinner
Treat yourself to a great escape at Wintergreen Resort combined with a VIP Wine Tasting and/or a Private Dinner at the Winery.
This package includes a 2 night stay on top of the mountain at Wintergreen Resort for up to 8 persons, a private VIP Reserve Tasting of award winning DelFosse wines, complimentary wineglasses, corkscrews, and discounts on wine purchases. You can also combine it with a private wine dinner for 8 people at the winery log cabin for a truly memorable event. The Winetrgreen stay is at a beautiful townhome with 4 master bedrooms,4 full baths,1 half bath! on one of the highest points in Wintergreen! Enjoy views of both the Shenandoah Valley and the Rockfish Valley! Views like these are unique at Wintergreen. This gorgeous place is also adjacent to the Wintergarden Spa and a short walk to the golf club and Devils Grill Restaurant.
