Special Library Wines are also DelFosse Winery wines that are available in very small quantities, e.g. labels from prior vintages. These wines are made available for sale until supplies last on a first come, first served basis. Many of them are Gold Medal Winners, which sold out fairly quickly.

Champagne Francois de Rozay is a non-vintage Champagne composed of 35% Pinot Meunier, 55% Pinot Noir and 10% Chardonnay. It is aged 18 months on the yeasts.
The Pinot Meunier provides the fruitiness and roundness, the Pinot Noir the structure and length, the Chardonnay the finesse.
Great Balance between the fruity aromas of the Pinots and the yeastiness. The taste is round, mouth filling, fruity and voluptuous.
This well made wine is soft and frothy with a straw gold color and biscuity nose that has some tropical fruit with soft red fruit highlights. Round and fruity on the palate there is that softness of the Pinot Noir with a slight nutty quality on the mid-palate and a citrusy finish. This is an exceptional value and a real crowd pleaser.
Manuel Janisson is a top quality producer from the village of Verzenay near Reims. Verzenay, on the Mountain of Reims, is a Grand Cru Classe producing powerful and racy Pinot Noir.
Verzenay’s Pinot Noir provides the backbone and structure to the Prestige Cuvees made by the Grand Marques of Champagne including Bollinger,Veuve Clicquot, Moet & Chandon and Roederer.
Manuel Janissons’ grandfather started the family vineyard and winery in 1923 and Manuel took over the estate in 1991. Since then he has expanded his vineyards, increased the production to over 100,000 cases per year and updated the winery with modern technology which has resulted in producing excellent quality Champagnes.
