A blend of 60% Cabernet Franc and 40% Chambourcin. Aged 9 months in French Oak barrels. Bottled in July 2009. Released in May 2011. Nose – This wine exhibits an unreduced nose with big fruit and notes of blackberry. The fruit is backed by floral hints of violets and the aroma of fresh jam. Black cherry and earth are vibrant and well integratedTaste –This rich concentrated red wine has bright fruit, soft tannins and slight oak with a rich structure, which enhances the rich bright fruit of this round, smooth red wine. With great balance and lively acidity, the many layers of red fruit and mild smokiness are backed by length on the finish.Food Pairing –This red table wine blend is very approachable and easy to drink.
