DelFosse Vineyards and Winery offers the following facilities for rental.

DelFosse Vineyards and Winery will be happy to provide pricing information following a short discussion of your requirements. EVENT PLANNING AND WEDDING COORDINATION.
Our Event Coordinators will assist you in your scheduling arrangements for the wedding rehearsal & ceremony. Should you require additional assistance on the day of your wedding, one of DelFosse Vineyards and Winery Event Coordinators can be onsite to ensure your event is a complete success.

CATERING.
DelFosse Vineyards and Winery works with a number of Preferred Providers for all catering and beverage needs. Please refer to DelFosse Vineyards and Winery’s “Preferred Providers List” for contact information.

DelFosse Vineyards and Winery is working with a number of Preferred VendorsYou are encouraged to use their serveices. They have been carefully selected using some of the criteria below:
They have been interviewed by Winery Management
They have visited the facility and in most cases, they have performed events at the winery
They have a solid reputation of quality in the business community.
While you are welcome to select your own providers, we encourage you to use those listed. |
PARKING AND SHUTTLES.
While there is ample parking at the winery, not all parking is near the event facilities. Arrangements for valet or a shuttle service are strongly recommended. Please refer to our “Preferred Providers List” for information.

EVENT TIMES.
DelFosse Vineyards and Winery has multiple Tasting Venues, and as such, your wedding can be scheduled at the time of your choice during the day or the evening. Weddings cannot start before 11 am though. During the months of May to September, weddings must end by 11:30pm. October-April weddings must end by 10:30pm. No event may exceed an 8 hour rental period. When creating your wedding invitation, please put the exact time of the ceremony start time.

MUSIC.
DelFosse Vineyards and Winery Event Coordinator must approve any music or entertainment prior to the event. A copy of the contract with music and/or entertainment providers should be sent to the wineryAmplified music outdoors is allowed with prior approval from DelFosse Vineyards and Winery. Please contact the DelFosse Vineyards and Winery Event Coordinator with any questions regarding the times stated above.

DECORATIONS.
Large decorations or displays brought into the Winery must be approved by DelFosse Vineyards and Winery Event Coordinators 6 weeks prior to arrival in order to prevent damage to fixtures or furnishings. All decorations must be removed from the winery at the end of the event. DelFosse Vineyards and Winery WILL throw away any decorations (including votives) at the end of the night.

ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES.
If alcoholic beverages are going to be served at the event, the following rules mandated by State laws must be strictly adhered to:
- Customer must ensure that caterers and/or other providers have all the legally required licenses and other permits to serve alcohol on the Winery premises. This includes, but is not necessarily limited to, a one day banquet license and an annual caterer’s license issued by the Virginia Alcoholic Beverage Commission.
- Alcohol can only be served at events where more than half the attendance is over 21 years old.
- No alcoholic beverages can be served to anyone less than 21 years of age, or to people who are intoxicated.
- No alcoholic beverage may be taken outside of the event designated areas.
- No alcoholic beverage may be served to people who are not part of the Customer’s party
- Only wines from DelFosse Vineyards and Winery may be served at the event.

WEDDING REHEARSALS.
Wedding rehearsals can be scheduled in advance with DelFosse Vineyards and Winery Events Manager at a mutually convenient time.

DEPOSITS & PAYMENT SCHEDULES.
A deposit equaling 50% of the total facility rental is required to secure an event date at DelFosse Vineyards and Winery. The amount will be deducted from the total cost after the contract has been approved and signed. The balance is due 3 months prior to the event date. We require a major credit card along with your deposit to guarantee any additional charges incurred, should your costs exceed the estimated bill. Final accounting will be forwarded to you after the event.

CANCELLATIONS.
If there is a cancellation, the following policy will apply:
- More than 8 weeks prior to event: 50% of the cost
- Less than eight weeks: 75% of the cost
- Less than 4 weeks : 100% of the cost
If DelFosse Vineyards and Winery can resell the event date, the cancellation amount (NOT including the deposit) will be waived.

SECURITY DEPOSIT.
A security deposit of $500 or 25% of the rental price (whichever is greater) will be required 30 days prior to the event. Customer and/or agents will be responsible for restoring the grounds to the same condition as found at the beginning of the event, subject to normal wear and tear. All debris must be removed on the evening of the event and all rentals are stored at the end of the event in a facility designated by Winery. All rentals must be removed on the next business day after the event. Winery will make available receptacles for garbage and trash.

LIABILITY/INSURANCE.
DelFosse Vineyards and Winery does not assume any responsibility for personal property or equipment brought into the facilities. Clients agree to take responsibility for any damage to the function room or any other part of the Winery caused by clients, any of their guests, or its independent agent. In addition, DelFosse Vineyards and Winery requires clients coming in for large events to provide a certificate of insurance.

INDEMNIFICATION.
Customer shall be responsible for loss or damage to Winery property and injury to person(s) attending the event, whether caused by acts of omissions or not, of Customer, its agents, employees, guests, or invitees. Customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Winery from all claims, damages, suits or liabilities that may arise or grow out of Customer’s rental and use of Winery facilities.
