Although the Winery is quite easy to find, there are a few items worth noting. In general you should follow the directions as printed on the Visit Page. However if you use Map search engines and some GPS systems, please note the following:
.Until recently many of these engines did not recognize the address 500 DelFosse Winery Lane. You can use the following alternate addresses

The coordinates of the gate: 37.88945,-78.7618333
. When coming from points West, i.e. Route 151, the map engine will direct you to turn from Rte 6 onto Rte 634 and take you for a long ride over a very windy unpaved mountain road for 3 miles (it is a State road) The better way to come from points West is to follow Rte 6 to Rte 29 North for 3 miles and turn left on Rte 616 (see directions on visit page)
. There are 4 VDOT signs for the Winery. Two on Rte 29 North and South and 2 on Rte 2 East and West. We are 100 yards South of Rte 6 East on 29
. After turning onto Rte 616, pay attention to the 2 grape cluster signs on Rte 616 to make sure you make the right turns
