100% Merlot. Aged 11 months in French oak barrels.

Bottled in early August 2005. Released in late September 2005.

Intense cherry aromas with a touch of smokiness. A big concentrated wine with blackberry and currant notes. Young heavy tannins should help this wine age nicely as they soften over time.
